Meet Andrea & Justin
Andrea & Justin Opened AJ’s Country Meats in 2018 in Taroom. A truly husband and wife family business as they both share the passion for meat and butchering as they work along side each other every single day.
Justin was introduced to the meat industry at a young age, being a son of a 4th generation butcher he spent many hours helping his Dad and Grandfather with butchering. As he mastered and finished he butcher trade and abattoir processing trade Justin found a new passion and niche for smallgoods and a new line of AJ’s Country Meats Crafted Charcuterie smallgoods was born.
In 2023 we saw these products recognised for their high quality and excellence with 13 National Awards received for AJ’s Country Meats Crafted Charcuterie smallgoods. A major accomplishment with multiple interviews recognising our National achievements.
Andrea is the smiling face you greeted with at the front of the shop while Justin is working behind the scenes at the back of shop making sure all the high quality meat and award winning smallgoods is kept stocked up. Andrea also manages the website, online shopping, facebook, instagram, specials, tips and updates ensuring to help all our customers everyday creating a happy positive experience.
