AJ’s Country Meats are offering Private Beef kills, so you can enjoy your very own home-grown cattle, because meat from your own property always tastes better. And as a 5th generation butcher, with the wealth of knowledge gathered over 20 years of butchering, your animals couldn’t be in better hands.

Private Beef Kill Packs $700* + gst ($770)
*For cattle under 300kg dressed weight
**For Cattle over 300kg it’s costs $800 + gst ($880)

Pack includes:
Slaughter fee at Steve’s Country Kills Chinchilla
Refrigerated transport to our Butcher Shop in Taroom
Aged for over a week for optimum tenderness
Beef boned & processed as per customer specification

Packed into thick labeled serving size bags
Packed into boxes or ready for your eskies

Animal Delivery
Animals are to be delivered to Steve Country Kills abattoir in Chinchilla. We book your cattle into the abattoir for you.
Note: Animals are not to be delivered to site without a booking that has been confirmed by AJ’s Country Meats.
Cattle must be accompanied with National Vendor Declaration form.
Hanging Time
Carcasses will hang for a minimum of 7 days before boning.
Packaging
Beef will be packed into thick bags with labels that are serving size ready to go into freezer, as per customer instructions.
Pickup
To be confirmed when booking is made.
Payment
Balance must be paid on pickup.
*Note - Crumbed steak, steakettes, flavoured sausages and other extra items are not available for private kill packs.
